This December, Sagamore Fence & Deck proudly hosted our first-ever community Christmas event here in Georgetown, Texas. As a local Georgetown fence company, we are committed not only to providing quality fencing and outdoor solutions, but also to creating opportunities to connect with the families we serve. Our inaugural holiday event was a wonderful success, filled with hands-on activities, family fun, and community giving. Here’s a recap of the special day.
A Warm Welcome With Our Hot Cocoa Bar
To kick off our first event, guests were greeted with a full hot cocoa bar featuring all the classic toppings. It quickly became a gathering spot where families could warm up, mingle, and get into the holiday spirit. Hosting an event like this for the first time allowed us to meet customers and community members in a new, personal way.
Pictures With Santa
Santa made a memorable appearance for photos with local families. Children shared holiday wishes while parents captured keepsake moments. For our first hosted event, this Santa photo station was an exciting highlight that brought smiles to everyone who attended.
Hands-On Christmas Tree Box Building
One of the most popular new activities was our Christmas tree box building station. With guidance from our Sagamore team, families assembled wooden Christmas tree boxes before kids added their own creative touches. The decorating portion—complete with paint, stickers, and festive accents—brought out plenty of creativity. This hands-on experience reflects the craftsmanship and care we bring to every fence and deck project in Georgetown.
Supporting Blue Santa Georgetown Through Our First Toy Drive
A core part of launching this event was the opportunity to give back. We partnered with Blue Santa Georgetown to host our first toy drive, and our community showed up generously. Guests donated toys throughout the day, all of which will help brighten Christmas for local children in need. Beginning this tradition with such strong support means a great deal to our team.
