Do you handle the city permitting process?
Yes, and we handle HOA and architectural committee (ACC) approvals too. For city permits, we submit the permit on your behalf, which streamlines the process and makes sure your project complies with local regulations. In Georgetown, that includes the city fence permit and, for homes in the Downtown and Old Town historic districts, the Certificate of Appropriateness reviewed by the city’s historic staff or HARC. For your HOA, we read the guidelines, prepare the full application packet and work with the committee; see the next question.
Do you handle HOA and ACC approvals?
Yes, and it’s one of the things we do best. Send us your HOA guidelines and we’ll read them, design your fence or deck to comply and prepare the complete application packet: the fence drawing and material details, plus a survey markup showing exactly where the fence will go. We answer the committee’s questions, revise the plans if asked, and when it helps, attend HOA, ACC and MUD board meetings to speak on your behalf. What if I don't have a property survey?
The City of Georgetown asks for a survey showing the fence location with a fence permit, and HOAs often want one too. If you don’t have a survey, we can coordinate a new one with an outside survey company for a fee, then prepare the survey markup for your HOA application and permit.
